Special Section
Clio Art Fair presents a special section titled
Behave As If God Exhists
Exploring the future of humanity between artificial intelligence and religious morality
Man is a rope tied between beast and Overman, a rope over an abyss. A dangerous crossing,
a dangerous wayfaring, a dangerous looking-back, a dangerous trembling, and a dangerous halting.
What is great in man is that he is a bridge and not an end!
- Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra
In an era marked by the rise of artificial intelligence, the very concept of humanity is wavering. If, as Nietzsche suggested, man is something to be overcome, what happens when he is no longer the one making this crossing, but has already been surpassed? And if technology becomes the new divinity, what will be the fate of dominant moralities shaped by millennia-old religions?
Clio Art Fair, a long-standing hub for independent artists and unconventional voices, dedicates its upcoming performance series to this very question with “Behave as if God exists”. Through immersive, provocative, and visionary artistic actions, we will explore the boundaries between the sacred and the profane, between genetic code and binary code, between faith and algorithm. The next two editions of Clio Art Fair will not only be a celebration of contemporary art but also a laboratory of ideas, where the audience will be invited to question the future of ethics, spirituality, and identity in the post-human era.
